Understanding Research and Research Paradigms

Mamudu Abunga Akudugu, a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research and Consultancy Services (IIRaCS) of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana; holds a PhD Degree in Livelihoods (International and Rural Development), MPhil Degree in Agricultural Economics and BSc Degree in Agriculture Technology (Agricultural Economics and Extension Option). He is an interdisciplinary researcher with special interest in inclusive development with focus on rural and agricultural finance, climate and agrarian change, livelihoods, gender and social safety. He is a Commonwealth Scholar, Vice President (Administration) of the Ghana Association of Agricultural Economists (GAAE) and an active member of the African Association of Agricultural Economists (AAAE). He is a Consultant to many local and international organisations.
